Zen Live Radio Review

You know… Ya never can gage how a show is going to do. Well, at least I can’t. This sundays show was by far one of our most successful. That being said, I can’t say it was what I expected. I like a nice clean ending with an easy “last thought”. This one left us all just kind of shrugging.

We started out with a good number of problems with the stickam room. That was a blessing in disguise. It point out to us the need for you listeners to find us better when we can’t be live on stickam. We are currently working on that. We webcast through “listen2myradio.com” & also through our own ZenNet Server. This makes us available on itunes, mediaplayer, and winamp. ( just search for Zen Live Radio ). That stream is Audio only. So we are contiplating using Operator11 or BlogTV as a alternate when stickam isn’t working. Stay tuned for developments there.

The Show went well with Lindsay & SadieDammit both calling in and giving a different view on how sex and violence effect us. However, at the end of the day we pretty much desided that the explicit sex and violence are the Thorns to the rose. The Rose being a better and more open attitude about sex. The Education about aids and STDs. As for violence. Well many are entertained by foe Violence. The only real problem is that the real violence and the foe-violence are often hard to distinguish. This leads to an unrealistic view of violence in general and a desensitization toward things we should find appalling.

Don’t forget - as of next Sunday ( Nov 18th ) we will be webcasting 30 minutes later ( 9 pm est ). So… Set your alarms and jot it down on your calendars!
